FAQs:

Where are your inflatable temporary buildings manufactured?

All our structures are designed and built at our factory in the UK. We also build our own inflation systems giving us total control of manufacturing schedules and quality.

When compared to both permanent solutions and traditional temporary buildings, our inflatable instant structures are extremely cost effective. The cheaper and less intrusive installation process, combined with the low running costs of keeping the units inflated, means in most cases they are a more cost effective solution than a traditional temporary structure.

Manufactured by our own team at Tectoniks, we build our inflatable structures to withstand the toughest environments and to meet BS/EN/1991/4 standards. The inflated design provides greater structural integrity as it allows for small amounts of movement in the wind, and also makes the units nearly impossible to puncture or damage. We have had units on rent in some of the toughest conditions (including the foot of Ben Nevis) and have experienced no issues.

Our instant structures can be hired for as little as 13 weeks to however long you may need it. We have some customers who have had these units on site for 5+ years which are still performing extremely well. Our flexible hire agreements allow your business to remain truly scalable and adaptive to change.

Yes, we can. Structural calculations are often required when dealing with local authorities during the planning of an event or installation. If this is a requirement then just let us know when ordering.

Yes – absolutely. The inflatable design allows for units to be moved around your premises with next to no disruption to your site or operations. As long as the unit fits within the desired location and the ground is level, we can move our instant structures with ease. Also, thanks to the modular nature of our units we are able to expand the structure to meet your demands, adding on or removing units as and when you need.

Not likely at all. The inflated structures run at 20 millibars of pressure, which helps reduce the chances of any punctures. They are manufactured with a PVC coating on both sides of the walls and has a fire rating. Our pumps which inflate the structures also have a 100% back-up solution in place, meaning if the unlikely event of a small tear happened – the domes will stay rigid to keep your business running.

To summarise, you would have to try VERY hard to puncture one of our structures to the point you cannot use it!
